It is believed that approximately every third person in Philippines is a Facebook user. Considering that fact and combining that with a country having a population of about a 100 Million, if that isn’t enough to get you on this list than I don’t know what is.

The United Kingdom comprises of 4 countries. They are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively. Contributing together, they amount up to about 31.1 Million Facebook users. Enough to earn them the 7th spot on this list.
6. Turkey
Facebook Users: 32.7 Million
Turkey is well known for its historical significance and grand mosques and minarets. Being a historical nation doesn’t prevent them from excelling on the social media. About 35% of their population are currently active Facebook users.
5. Mexico
Facebook Users: 42.5 Million
Mexico is believed to be a country where the social media presence is experiencing a rapid growth. Apart from the 40+ Million Facebook users that they already have, it expected that the number will grow a great deal further in the years to come.
4. Indonesia
Facebook Users: 47.9 Million
Indonesia is among the developing countries that are rapidly moving forwards and adapting. Being one of the most populated countries in the world, about 48 Million people in Indonesia use Facebook to stay connected to their peers.
3. India
Facebook Users: 63.7 Million
India is the second most populous country in the whole world only behind the number one, that is China. That allows India to have a high 3rd rank on this list of countries having the most amount of Facebook users. Besides the population factor, India’s IT industry is booming which further helps their case.
2. Brazil
Facebook Users: 71.8 Million
Brazil is a country that is again known best globally for its rich history in Football. Being the largest and the most populous country in South America, Brazil contributes about 72 Million users to Facebook. That huge number puts Brazil as the runner-up.
1. United States of America
Facebook Users: 158.9 Million
United States of America tops this list with about 159 Million Facebook users. This doesn’t really surprise anyone since Facebook is after all an American company. Besides that, the accessibility that the US provides to the digital world is quite unparalleled.
